This Parish Recovery Planning Tool (RPT) contains projects that were developed by Louisiana parishes in their recovery planning process. Recovery projects included in the Parish RPT are ones that directly address needs resulting from the disaster and are additional to those already planned through other programs. Higher recovery value projects are consistent with community recovery visioning and goals, focus on overall community recovery and can achieve multiple recovery benefits. Individual sources of funding must be identified and pursued and inclusion on this site is not an indication that projects will be funded. Potential funds needed are provided as estimates that have also been developed by individual parish participants. |
*Recovery projects are classified by the local government into one of two priority categories: “Immediate” or “Future.” Projects classified as an “Immediate” priority currently have the attention of recovery partners and implementers in an effort to expedite the project’s implementation. “Future” priority projects have yet to receive this level of attention. |
**The Recovery Value of a project is an approximation of the impact a project will have on the overall recovery of a parish based on previous recovery planning experiences. Recovery Value is not an indication of the priority or importance of the project. |
