DESCRIPTION:
This project will construct three firestations, one in Erath, the 7th Ward, and on Pecan Island. All of these buildings will replace buildings destroyed in Hurricane Rita. The new building in Erath will be a combined Fire Department and Police Department and will be located out of the flood zone to protect from future flooding. Two fire stations in the 7th Ward will be combined into one, 2-bay station, and the Pecan Island fire department will construct a 2nd floor on top of the existing facility, also consisting of 2 bays.

COMMUNITY WIDE IMPACT:
This project impacts homeowners, businesses and citizens in the area for fire safety and EMT response.
